Open University - Graduate Certificate in Theoretical Statistics & Probability
I studied maths at undergraduate level (quite a long time ago), graduating with a very average BSc (Hons) Mathematics from the University of Warwick.
As described in another project, I’m gradually studying towards an MSc in Mathematics.
In recent years, my work has become much more focused on Security Data Analysis, as opposed to low-level hacking. So, to refresh and improve my core data skills, I decided to study for a Graduate Certificate in Theoretical Statistics and Probability with the Open University.
This is a short course (taking 1 or 2 years), comprising a couple of Undergraduate-level statistics modules, both of which I’m taking in 2022/23:
I’ve enjoyed this so far, and half-way through, it’s already had a big impact on the quality of my analysis at work.
